Job Details
The job will be to sell ENF's advertising and market research reports. The job is primarily phone-based, but we do send the better sales people to overseas exhibitions (Europe, USA etc.) to make contact with customers face-to-face.
Note: Candidates must be willing to work on different time zones based on the markets they are selling to. Eg. When selling to European companies, staff will work 2pm until 11pm.Key skill requirements
You don’t need to be able to speak any Chinese as all employees are fluent in English, and you don’t need any background in the renewable energy industry (as a good salesman can sell anything).
Candidates must have sales experience – if you have experience selling advertising or information it is a strong plus.
Candidates must be very self-motivating. As the sales build up you will have an increasing number of contacts with people you have gotten to know – but at the start there will be a lot of telephone work to initiate contact with marketing managers around the world (although many will know ENF’s name already).
If you don't have any relevant work experience, then we have 1-year unpaid internship opportunities available for people looking to gain experience in the renewable energy industry, with ENF only providing free accommodation.
